It started by doing covers at home and decided to put it online. You’ve now got over 1 million subs on YouTube! How did it all start? There’s a lot of politics behind closed doors so be ready, believe and work on your craft and keep on pushing no matter what. Make mistakes and learn from those mistakes and be mindful that it’s not all glitz and glamour. The best way to learn is being involved in the industry. What tips would you give to students looking to get into the music industry? I do vocals, I can play piano, guitar, bass, a little bit of drums. How many and what instruments can you play? I see myself at the top of the billboard charts and still making music that I love. What are your plans for the future, where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I come from a family background that’s very musical. I’ve got two personal favourites – Pillowtalk by ZAYN & Talking Body by Tove Lo. All about William Singe I’m loving all the mashups on your YouTube. I got in contact, he was up for it and absolutely killed the performance. I didn’t quite have the record at the time but it was only when I wrote “Mama” and finished writing it about six months ago I just knew he had to be the person singing it. I was inspired and knew I wanted to work with him on a record at some point. I was a massive fan of what he was doing and how he was making these covers his own. I discovered William two years ago on YouTube. William Singe features on your new single ‘Mama’. So long as you’re in it to work on your craft and passion, good things will come. Music has never been about money for me personally and it should never be for aspiring artists. What advice would you give to students who are looking to get into the music industry? The way I handle that is by listening to meditation music before playing. It’s the butterflies in your stomach just before you get on stage. When I’m touring all the time I quickly get into a routine and the swing of things so it’s more stage fright. I do get nervous but it’s a different kind of nervous. Do you get nervous before performing, if so, how do you deal with your nerves? What three things can you not live without? Check it out here Which artist inspires you?Ĭalvin Harris. Hmm, good question I’m going to “unbiasedly” go for Jonas Blue - Mama. It was amazing to see all the fans and people from my hometown though! What’s your favourite summer anthem? I loved it, it’s home territory, although I did only have 45 seconds to prepare for my set because it took me nearly an hour to get into the festival.

time to find out a bit more about the guys: All about Jonas Blue How did you find being on stage at We Are FSTVL?
